Towards familiarization of students with a concept of applied research
On May 24, Folkuniversitetet hosted the second Applied Research Seminar for students and future graduates of the university, organized by lecturers Hasitha Priyashantha, Vassilis Varelas, and invited speaker Yuliia Kozhukhivska. One of the seminar’s purposes was to introduce the topic of Applied Research within the NEARVET Project. This concept is particularly relevant as students in Sweden encounter applied research while working on their final project research at the end of their studies. By attending this event in a hybrid-format students gained valuable insights into the topic.
