Applied research is key to improving Vocational Education and Training. At NEARVET, we’re focused on enhancing the dialogue between training centers and companies, ensuring the needs of both are heard and effectively addressed.

In this event, you will discover the Don Bosco Awards, an exemplary model of collaboration in VET that promotes innovation and applied research practices. On May 21st, 2024, at CCIZ offices we will learn how these awards have created strong links between students and companies, promoting innovation and practical solutions.

Hear from Merche López, director of Salesianos VET School, about the history and evolution of these awards, Carlos Sánchez, CEO of HERCO, an industrial company, will share their long-term collaboration and business perspective. Additionally, Daniel Valero, a Salesianos VET School student awarded with the first prize in the Industrial Technologies category at Don Bosco Awards, will share his experience and how this recognition has impacted his educational and professional career.

This event aims to highlight the importance of applied research in VET and how it bridges the gap between education and industry.
