The event will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 15:00 to 19:00 | CET time at the Grecotel Larissa Imperial, in Larissa. For those unable to attend in person, live streaming will also be available.
The conference focuses on strengthening the connection between Vocational Education and Training (VET), business, and applied research. It is based on the outcomes of the NEARVET project, which aims to develop a sustainable system that enhances collaboration among educational institutions, businesses, and research organizations. Special emphasis is placed on digital transformation and the development of skills needed for the modern labor market.
The goal of the conference is to bring together representatives from educational institutions, businesses, and research organizations across Europe, promoting networking, exchange of ideas, and the sharing of best practices.
Representatives from governmental institutions, research organizations, businesses, and public authorities will participate in the conference, offering an excellent opportunity for networking and exchanging perspectives.
As part of the NEARVET project, a pan-European competition was held to showcase innovative ideas in applied research and vocational training. The three winners will present their proposals during the conference, with the award ceremony taking place at the end of the event.
