Module 5, “EXPERIMENTATION (ENSURING PRACTICES TO RESPOND TO THE INQUIRY),” is designed to equip learner with the skills and knowledge necessary to pilot test research results. The module emphasizes the importance of rigorous experimental methods in Vocational Education and Training (VET). Participants will explore various types of experimental research designs, the principles of pilot testing and pre-testing. The module seeks to assure the successful use of experimental research methodologies, encourage active involvement, and improve the learning experience by combining various pedagogical approaches. By the end of the module learners have an ability to practically study and analyse the suggested case study of conducting pilot testing, identifying the potential benefits.

Elena holds a Msc in political science and European law. She has a long professional experience on program and project development in the fields of VET, social inclusion, and labour market policies, particularly with vulnerable groups. Has worked as a project manager, evaluator, and content expert for public and private agencies, being responsible for small and large teams of experts/project staff with field experience in the EU28, Middle East, Asia, Subsaharan Africa, Caribbean, and Eastern and candidate countries. She’s director of MetropolisNet since 2023.
