The module “Review and Understand Existing RESEARCH and GOOD PRACTICES RELEVANT TO THE APPLIED RESEARCH IN VET ASSIGNMENT” is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge required to comprehend the importance of reviewing existing research and selection of Good Practices. Each session of this module is designed to familiarize you with the key concepts in detail and to apply the theoretical skills you have acquired in practice. Using various formats such as scientific articles, videos, and interactive quizzes, learners will experience a comprehensive knowledge acquisition process aimed at mastering the skills required to perform Applied Research in VET. By engaging with the content and activities in this module, learners will gain a deep understanding of high-quality research practices and how to effectively apply them within the context of Vocational Education and Training. Consequently, learners will be perfectly equipped to conduct thorough and impactful research that contributes to the development and improvement of VET practices.

Elena holds a Msc in political science and European law. She has a long professional experience on program and project development in the fields of VET, social inclusion, and labour market policies, particularly with vulnerable groups. Has worked as a project manager, evaluator, and content expert for public and private agencies, being responsible for small and large teams of experts/project staff with field experience in the EU28, Middle East, Asia, Subsaharan Africa, Caribbean, and Eastern and candidate countries. She’s director of MetropolisNet since 2023.
