This module is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and tools necessary to support the development and continuous improvement of curricula within VET. By integrating a diverse set of methods, learners explore how applied research can shape curricula to better meet industry needs, ensuring the relevance and effectiveness of education programs. Throughout the module, learners engage with a variety of learning materials, including academic articles, blog posts, short videos, and case studies, which cover key concepts and practical examples. Simulation activities and comprehensive guides are provided to enhance the application of knowledge, enabling learners to critically analyse real-world situations and propose informed improvements to curricula. This module fosters both theoretical understanding and practical skill-building, supporting a dynamic approach to curriculum development in VET.
Managing Director
Elena holds a Msc in political science and European law. She has a long professional experience on program and project development in the fields of VET, social inclusion, and labour market policies, particularly with vulnerable groups. Has worked as a project manager, evaluator, and content expert for public and private agencies, being responsible for small and large teams of experts/project staff with field experience in the EU28, Middle East, Asia, Subsaharan Africa, Caribbean, and Eastern and candidate countries. She’s director of MetropolisNet since 2023.
