Purpose:
The ability to approach and understand how to develop an applied research through the use of digital and social media services, as well as to identify and use the most appropriate digital tools and promote a critical interpretation of the use of AI-based digital services for applied research in VET assignment.

Forms of pedagogies
Divided into two sections, this module analyses the differences in choosing and using a variety of l digital tools for developing applied research in VET.
The first section identifies strategies and key activities to effectively conduct impactful applied research in VET and a list of the most effective digital services and tools for developing applied research, while the second one focuses on the role that AI holds in developing applied research and guides through the appropriate selection of tools and technologies that can significantly enhance applied research in VET.
The module includes articles, videos and activities explaining these two aspects of digital services in the applied research field. Among the tools provided are guidelines and scientific articles showing concrete cases of these methodologies to help teachers and trainers replicate them in their working context.
At the end of the module, there is a short multiple-choice quiz to check that the basic information has been acquired.
